Directed, animated, and finished this teaser for Nat Geo. Our small crew shot with the URSA Mini Pro G2 camera at 60fps with a 24mm probe lens on a BOLT Motion Control system. We procured a multitude of period accurate computer components and modified them so we can easily enter and exit the computer chassis. The original pitched concept involved computer components dissolving away until we are left with the hard drive, floating in the void. The final concept consists of three shots, stitched together as one camera move. A simple transition from shot one to two, with a 3D case fan created for transition shot two to three.
